Whisper of the House: How to Find the Secret Chamber
Whisper of the House is far from being just another isometric decorating sim. Hidden narratives, mysteries and secrets are waiting to be uncovered. Every house in Whisper Town has a story and some can be deeply unsettling. Your first job at Luna’s house l will lead you to a secret chamber with a disturbing past. Find out how to find the hidden room in this guide.

Reach Luna’s House
The moment you move into Whisper Town and complete the tutorial, head to your first task. Right-click on your mailbox outside your house and read the request letter from Luna. She has just arrived at the town with her dog and has moved into her new house.
Your job is to reach her house, unpack furniture and arrange them in the right places. Sounds boring, right? Wait until you reach her bedroom. There, you will find a secret chamber that stirs up countless questions about the house. I am certain Luna has no idea. It is her landlord or the previous owner who seems to know something she doesn’t. < insert creepy background music >
Enter the Bedroom
From the living room, find the entry to the hallway. Press and hold the right mouse button on the stairs to your extreme left to exit the living room.
From the hallway, press and hold the right mouse button on the bedroom door to enter.
Finding the Secret Chamber
Once you are in the bedroom, click on the “Sonna Misa” painting on the wall. Slide it slightly to the right to uncover a small crack.
Right-click on the crack repeatedly to widen the crevice. Press and hold the right mouse button on the crevice to enter the secret chamber.
What’s in the Dark Room?
It’s a weird place and seems like someone had been hiding out here. There’s darkness all around and you can’t find a switch to turn on the lights. There’s a strange symbol drawn on the wall. You will also see a lot of tally marks on the wall. Click on notes sticking to the wall to read what’s scribbled on them:
- Note 1 – The one in sunglasses…watching me…protect the food.
- Note 2 – 456 days…still no way home.
- Note 3 – Convenience store…Wednesday…expired food…what day is it today?
- Note 4 – Breathe…need to breathe…drill a hole.
- Note 5 – Mouse…need mousetrap.
Right-click on the work badge of an unknown person to examine it more closely. This will be your first clue from Luna’s house.
You can access the ID from settings (gear icon) > Files > Record. There are several items scattered all over the room. You can examine them one by one, but I guess the ID is the only item you will be taking with you
Click on the hardbound Diary to read the text on its cover:
Someone… moved in. The footprints in the bathroom. Wipe them off.
Wipe off All Footprints
Strangely, a hidden tunnel leads from the hidden chamber to the bathroom. It seems the mysterious occupant may have used it as a secret escape route. Click on the tunnel to access the bathroom.
Inside the bathroom, find all footprints and right click on them to wipe them off. Some even stretch up along the walls. Could these belong to the stranger from the secret chamber? * shudders *
One of the footprints on the floor will be difficult to remove. Right-click on it repeatedly to wipe it off.
After wiping off all footprints, you will finish your first event – “What’s the Crack on the Wall”.
