Day 16
Nephroquant
Used to draw out infections. But if held against bare skin for long periods, it can cause Braxis. Look up Braxis in the book of curses.
Find an item that is attached to blackened flesh.

Visiting Card from Franklin Underhill
He requests you to visit him to obtain some items of interest.

Cassander
This item produces a selenic field if placed on the thaumic lens on your desk. Look up Caasender in the strange artefacts book. Maybe you might find a hint in the sketch.
To obtain this item, you will have to take the help of a clue that tells which items need to be on the three plinths below the counter.
Remember that note you got from Simone Green on Day 15? Here’s the clue from that note:

You need to find three items that have:
- Bloodstone ( Dark black stone with flecks of red for dark purposes)
- Jade ( A Green stone of the Earth)
- Vivianite ( Dark blue green-stone of Death)
Refer to the Book of Gemstones to see what they look like.
On the three plinths, put the item with the bloodstone on your left, the jade in the middle, and the item with Vivianite on the right:
- Corvan’s Might (Left)
- A bronze item with a single Jade stone in the middle
- Holgen Grimm (Vivianite)

The Clock Puzzle
In Strange Antiquities, placing the correct items on the three plinths in the correct order unlocks a hidden cabinet containing a new clock puzzle:

This puzzle is linked to the pendulum clock on the left. The Vault has a stained-glass flower design with twelve surrounding buttons, and the center circle shows a specific lunar phase – pay close attention to it.
Click on the tiny button on the upper-right side of the pendulum clock to reveal a hidden lunar phase on the clock:

Now pull the pendulum to cycle through the lunar phases. Set the clock’s moon phase to match the one displayed in the flower design:

Press the tiny button on the clock again to flip it back to show the time. Note the positions of the hour, minute, and second hands on the clock. Click the buttons around the flower design on the vault to match the hour, minute, and second hand positions from the clock:

After pressing the three buttons around the flower design, press the diamond-shaped button at the bottom to open the vault:

The vault will reveal the Cassander. Drag and drop the item to your counter and then press the Leave button.

Cassander reveals a new Clock Puzzle in Strange Antiquities. From here on, you may have to rely on the pendulum clock and the secret vault to unlock special items. To open the secret vault, you must place three specific items on the plinths, guided by the clue notes left by visitors to your shop. These items will change from time to time, as mentioned on the clue notes left by visitors.

Cussic Purifier
Gilbert Ames received a ring from his uncle, but he believes it is cursed. He has come to you for help. Which item could you use to lift the curse from the ring?
Look up the word curse in the Strange Artefacts book index. Under the word curse, you will find three items of interest: Cussic Purifier, Lamb’s Syphon, and Tormund’s Bane. You will need the first item to lift the curse.

Griss
Look through the notes and clue cards to see if they lead you to any discoveries. The clue card – “I am marked by Jupiter” will help you find that item.
Look up the symbol of Jupiter in the book of symbols. It can be found under “Planetary Metals” in the book.

Click on the Explore button in the lower-left corner of the screen and open the castle map. Find the same symbol on the castle map. See the screenshot below:

You will obtain an item and a torn note:

Arrange the two torn notes on the study table to reveal a clue. The first note was acquired on Day 11, while finding the whereabouts of St. Cedric’s Thunder:

The completed note reads:
“The Castle Vaults are blocked by a Diurnic Seal. It can be opened by any object made from silver or gold that produces a Diurnic Field. “
The object found using the castle map is not the one the customer is looking for.
The completed note hints at the location of the item named Griss. Click explore to open the castle vaults map.
Search for “To the Vaults. It’s in the lower-left corner of the castle map. Click on it to find out what’s in it.

The vaults are blocked by a large iron door and are thaumically sealed. Find what item do you need to open it with the help of the note. Scroll down to reveal a slot. You will need to place the right item on the slot to open the iron door.

You will need an object made from silver and gold to unlock ot. It should also produce a Diurnic Field.
Find the object from your collection and place it in the Thaumic lens on the desk to note down its thaumic field.
The object produces a Diurnic field. First things first, use the book or Hermetic Symbology. Under Thaumic Disciplines, note down the thaumic symbol for Diurnic.
Open the Thaumic lens on the desk and replicate the Diurnic symbol by arranging the movable shapes. You will see the Diurnic field in the background ( See the screenshot below):

Place the gold-silver object on the same lens. It should produce the same Diurnic field.
The correct object is “Moonstone Guardian”. Placing it on the lens does produce a Diurnic field:

Place the Moonstone Guardian on the slot and press use object to unlock the iron door:

The door opens and reveals a large natural cavern. You will obtain a note and an object from the cavern. But, surprise surprise, the object is not the GRISS!

Read the note. It probably has the clue to find the elusive item:

According to the note that you found in the caverns, some of the prized possessions are hidden in the castle, and there’s a code that reveals their location in the castle.
Click Explore to open the Castle Map. You willsee something scribbled on the top-right corner:
Mars in Winter, rising in Summer.
Click on the Kitchens on the map to obtain Griss.

Folium
Your customer mentions a basilisk sighting in the hills across the river from Backbarrow. Search for the word BASILISK in the Strange Artefacts’ Index.
In the index section, click on FOLIUM next to BASILISK. Read the description.
“A blade is drawn across the face of a Folium six times during the ritual of the Hand of Prior.”
Look for an object that resembles a hand that looks like it might have a blade drawn across it multiple times:

End of Day 16. New clue card unlocked:

Day 17
Dread Vivant and Lunima
Dread Vivant
According to the Book of Artefacts, A Dread Vivant’s “power is subtle but noticeably invigorating”.
Lunima: Look through letters and notes to see if you can find any clues. The Knight of Thorns card, unlocked at the end of day 13, holds the clue to this item’s location. Open the catacombs map and the knight of thorns card.
